Question:
Do you suffer from anxiety on a regular basis? Do you often feel anxious about something that you need to do or take care of? Do you have anxiety because you worry about projects you need to get done or decisions you have to make? Do you have anxiety regularly because you aren’t taking action on something that you know you need to be taking action on?
Action Challenge:
I get it! It can seem overwhelming when you have projects to finish or a big decision you need to make… And I know that there can be a lot of anxiety and worry around what the outcome might be or how others might react and respond. But the truth is, we can’t always control the outcome, especially when others are involved. And we don’t always know if the decisions we make are going to be right until we make them. However, I can guarantee you that not taking action on those things will cause your anxiety to continue to build until you take action on whatever it is that is causing you the anxiety.
It’s a very simple concept but if you are someone who struggles with anxiety, then please know that taking action is one of the easiest ways to eliminate it.
My challenge for you is to TAKE ACTION on your anxiety! Start by think about what you have going on in your life that is causing you anxiety. Maybe it’s time for you to challenge yourself to do something new and bold (i.e. get on camera and put yourself out there in your business). Maybe it’s time to put a real plan into place and start taking action on a (personal or professional) goal you’ve always wanted to achieve. Maybe you need to make a decision that you’ve been putting off. – Whatever it is that is causing you anxiety, identify it. Then… figure out what your next action step needs to be and take action on it. You’ll be glad you did!
